I´m getting strange error while running my program. It was working before I downloaded newer drivers. Does it matter and how?

I'm receiving this error:Error-1074001656 occurred at RSCMU_Init_GSM_Sig.viPossible reasons:

This error code is not listed in the internal database, or you have wired a
number that is not an error code(such as DAQ task ID) to the errror code
input.

This error is coming from CMU driver. 0xBFFC908 error means that function group is not assigned to a secondary address. When you update k2g, did you update RSCMU base too? This can be possible source of troubles.

If you are sure that you have instelled the latest version of drivers, try contact Rohde&Schwarz. Send to RS version of you rscmu200_32.dll and rscmuk2g_32.dll, which are located in the [VXIpnp dir]\Winxx\bin.
The latest version should be

rscmu200_32.dll - 3.0.5.10 "Rev 3.05RC10"
rscmuk2g_32.dll - 3.0.5.10 "Rev 3.05RC10"

Try search rscmu*.dll on your system. These dll should be ONLY in [VXIpnp dir]\Winxx\bin.

Thank you very much. It worked! Well, I had to uninstall everything and get new drivers but it worked. I hade some different versions of drivers on the disk and that could confuse anybody 🙂
I hope I can get your help if/when more problems show up.

I have a simler problem with the CMU (same error)

my sw version are the newest one available and also as for the drivers i am using

any ideas????

What hardware, drivers and development environment are you using?

Can you post a .spy capture of the error?
