Question about HP3585A Spectrum Analyzer

Hi all,

I got the labview driver for HP3585A from ni.com.

My objective is to get the whole spectrum onto the computer screen. In the driver, there is a vi for getting the trace. But when I run it, I only got the first 1/3 of the spectrum (about 430 points), and it gives the error 1073807339. The spectrum should have 1001 points, and from the "visa read" output, I got about 5270 bytes. I changed the "visa read byte count" to a very large number, and changed the "visa timeout" time to the maximum, but I still got the error and the partial spectrum.

Any idea why this is happening?

Is this 1/3 of datapoints correct (looks the same as on the display?
It seems a lot of data >5000 bytes for only 330 points.

Yes, the 1/3 spectrum I got looks right.
