Four Port Serial Switch

I am looking to see if anyone has ever used anything like this and if so can anyone recommend anything?  Thanks for any feedback.

We have used the PCMCIA to serial card located:

Specifically the QSP-100. I have not programmed applications using it but have successfully used it with other companies application software.

Thank you for the feedback.  That is something I will look into.  I am looking for both a PCMCIA option as well as a USB or RS232 option (in case the  laptop bites it while in the field I will need a way to get four serial ports out of the field PC, preferrably plug and play).

Never used that. For multiple serial ports, this is what I've used.
