LabVIEW Community Edition 2025 + Raspberry PI 5

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install LabVIEW RT on a Raspberry Pi 5 running the 32-bit Bookworm OS. The LINX.log file contains errors, as shown below:

Moreover, the detected device is listed as ‘Device Type: Raspberry Pi 2 B’, but it should be identified as a Raspberry Pi 5 instead.

Do you have any explanation?

The log does show a few errors, but it also looks like LabVIEW was successfully installed.  Can you connect to your RPi from the LV project and run a VI?

Yes, you are right. There are a few errors, but I can run my program on the RPI 5 without any problems.

I think these errors are due to the fact that the current folder

doesn't include all the required files.

Hi,

I think some of the messages may be because the MakerHub feed entry is for a http request and the sever may now only support https requests.  The request is repeated by the PI OS as a https request and downloads the files ok.
