PmodALS doesn't work on the SPI bus (Raspberry Pi 5)

Hello,

I tried to use the SPI bus on the Raspberry Pi 5 to read data from the PmodALS (ambient light sensor), but it isn’t working even though the SPI bus is enabled on the Raspberry Pi.

Do you have any idea what might be causing the problem or how to solve it?

The following VI works on my Raspberry Pi 5. The key point was to send a 16-bit word before starting the reading process.

The only issue is that LV LINX cannot activate CE0 (GPIO8), so only one SPI device can be used.
