FRC LabVIEW 2022 Install Issue

My team is having problems with FRC LabVIEW 2022 installation. I am Chief Mentor of my team and a 25+ year LabVIEW veteran (former CLA, CLD, CLI). One of my students and I have independently experienced this issue. I have my own professional LabVIEW license and have installed the FRC LabVIEW and Game Tools over my existing copy. My student performed a fresh install on a computer w/o any existing NI software. Both of us can find no FRC tools within our LabVIEW installs: no WPI palettes, no PID palette, no FRC Project template, etc. We have both also attempted to perform Repair operations to no avail. Please advise. Thanks!

Hello a.winslow,

It is likely you are missing the FRC Game Tools 2022. Please follow the steps in: Step 2: Installing Software » Offline Installation Preparation

Please note, it is not available until tomorrow (1/7/2022), per the guidance provided in the linked page and posted in FRC Blog - Kickoff: So Close!

Have a great 2022 season!

I have uninstalled and re-installed the FRC Game Tools since kickoff today. I still have no WPI libraries, PID libraries, FRC LabVIEW Project, or other of the common FRC tools within my LabVIEW install. Once again, my license is a personal license of LabVIEW 2021 activated with my own license ID, not with my team's ID. I would prefer not to have to uninstall it as I also have many other toolkits installed that I need for my work. I've never had any problems in the past with installing the FRC Game Tools over my personal copies of LabVIEW (2016, 2018 for sure that I can recall). Any suggestions?

I have resolved this issue. I was under the mistaken impression that FRC 2022 would be using LabVIEW 2021, not LabVIEW 2020. So all along while I've been launching my LabVIEW 2021, a proper FRC LabVIEW 2020 was installed on my HD. Once I finally figured this out and launched 2020, all of the FRC Tools were there as they should be. You can now close out this thread.
