Hi,

viewing my profile there is a box called 'public statistics'. There I find my full name and my full email - which is NOT supposed to be public.

In my settings / privacy settings I have selected show profile to noone, show email to noone, show online status to noone.

Either the statistics box is wrong or my privacy settings are not honored.

Hi Wolfgang,

if you visit your profile without being logged in, then you'll see, that nobody see your e-mail address.

This is certainly the better variant... 🙂 Still, it's confusing to see my email listed at Public Statistics - in my opinion this leaves room for improvements in the new forum software 🙂

Hi Wolfgang -

You can always check on the status of your privacy settings in "My Settings - Preferences - Privacy".  The email address field is listed separately so you can choose whether or not it can be viewed.

I agree, the "Public Statistics" section is a bit confusing.
