Did you mean:

cogratulations, Old Brook

I would like to be the first to congratulate Altenbach, the guy with the coolest icon around (the wizard with the gleaming eyes ) on crossing the 996 posts barrier.
Why 996?
First, like Ben said, people need to try and think differently,
second, I like Porsches,
and third, I tried to make it a thousand, but my computer is still one of those antiquated binary computer and I once learned from someone (I can't remember who it was) that "one" can't be represented in binary.

So, I'd just like to say that I've personally learned quite a lot from him (and was also amused by his posts) and hope to continue learning new and interesting things in the future. Thanks, Altenbach.

"is's cherman". (bad attempt at a german accent).
Alten is old and bach is a brook or a small stream. He's like a stream of knowledge.

I would like to join the others in congratulating Altenbach.

I have also learned from your posts.

You have been a reliable devoted contributor that has often stepped forward and answered those questions that I feared to touch.

The Exchange is much too large for any one of us to handle. It is only as a team that the Exchange has become what it is.

You sir, are one of most valuable players.

I hearby nominated you for the Developers Exchange Hall of Fame.

Again,

Congratulations and thank you!
