We all know that pheripheral vision is very sensitive to motion, so in addition to the bigger envelope, it would help if it were slightly pulsating or have some other animation. This way we would notice even without ever looking directly at it.
(It should be quite subtle, no need to rapidly flicker between lime green and purple with hot pink polka dots! :D)
