Lack of forum emails

I just want to verify. This past weekend I stopped receiving emails from the NI forums. Have there been any problems that I am unaware of? If not, then I will know for sure that the emails are being stopped by the email police before they get to me.

Well, while I am at it, I have also found another weird thing. When I first subscribed to the forums I as most people subscribed to the LabVIEW forum. At first on my Dashboard it showed up in My Subscriptions and then it went away. Then, a month later it came back. Then it went away again. It is still in My Subscription in My Profile, but it will not show in in My Subscription on the Dashboard.

Has anyone else seen this?

Well, forum emails started showing up a couple hours ago this morning. Does this mean that NI fixed a problem or that my call to my email people fixed the problem? Either way, thanks.

Well mine showed up this AM and my IT did nothing.

I think NI fixed something.

Thanks to all of you who brought it to our attention that the subscriptions were having problems over the weekend. We think they are fixed now, and let us know if you see any other oddities. I have never seen the subscriptions leave the dashboard window. I will start watching for that though. Has anyone else experienced this?

I received "NI Discussion Forums subscriptions" e-mails (daily digest) virtually every day until 6/16/2005.

I have not received anything since then!

My apologies for the inconvenience. I have checked to see if the subscription emails are getting rejected and they aren't. I will contact the forum developers to get ideas from them. My only suggestion at this point would be that maybe you have reached the maximum number of subscriptions available. Would you be willing to experiment with removing some of your older subscriptions (and turning them into bookmarks instead if you still want to keep them handy)?

Actually, shortly after my last message, I was getting the subscriptions again (see image).



Maybe it's me! If I get up early enough to catch up with everything right before the mail demon springs into action, there won't be anything left to mail. 🙂

Personally, I don't really need the subscription so it is not a big deal. I would rather prefer if the list of my own posts or the online list of subscription (manage subscriptions page) could be sorted such that threads with new activity (=bold) are on top. Currently the subscription list is entirely random.
I choose to only show one subscription on the forum home page, because this display is quite useless. e.g. on the top of my list is a thread that had last activity 1.5 months ago.
