Object required : 'navigator.display.currdataProvider'

Hello,

I have installed Diadem 2017 on my Professional computer this morning and after the end of the installation and the reboot of the computer, I got the error "Object required : 'navigator.display.currdataProvider'" appearing after the launch of Diadem.

I tried to reinstall but the same error appears.

Could someone help me to fix this ?

Thanks, regards

Hello FIVES,

It seems that during the installation process something was not correct registered. To solve this please try the following:

  • Close DIAdem
  • Double-click the file "uspSUsiMyDataFinderClient.uri" in the folder "c:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\DataFinderDesktop\bin\".

If this doesn't help try to repair DIAdem.

Greetings

Walter

Hi FIVES,

For the repairing option, you must open the OS area programs and features. There you find National Instruments Software. Double -click it, select the DIAdem version and Repair.

Walter,

I've tried to repair Diadem, but as you'll find attached, I don't have any option for this. I can only remove the software.

Thanks for your help,

Hi FIVES,

It seems that you have installed one of the latest NI software products which provide a new kind of installer tool (Package Manager). In this case you have only the option to uninstall and install DIAdem again.

Greetings

Walter

Hello,

I am having the same issue plus additional issues with DataFinder in DIADem (attached) and have attempted to repair and reinstall both DIAdem and LabVIEW with no luck for solving this problem.

Has the previous user (FIVES) found a solution?

SOLVED

According to previous reply, I found "uspSUsiMyDataFinderClient.uri" and running this file solved my problem.

Thanks!
