Simulating noise and writing it: too many channels error

Solved!
Go to solution

I am using the simulate noise express VI and running it to a DAQ assistant that has one channel and is writing data. When I input the white noise signal, it says I am inputting 10 channels where my task only has one channel. I have no idea how to fix this as it does not seem like the white noise has 10 channels, I have even checked by signal splitting and checking outputs of each on charts.

Thank you in advance

Start with attaching your VI.

(Since you talk about VIs, this looks like a LabVIEW question and I am not sure why you are posting in daqexpress forum)

Hi Altenbach,

My mistake I thought this was the forum to talk about issues with express VIs specifically, but I realize this is wrong. But I have since figured it out! It was just a down sampling issue, but thank you for your time nonetheless!
