Simulating DAQ devices.

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to simulate DAQmx. I can create the simulated devices in NIMAX, but when I use Labview (2012SP1) I cannot find the DAQmx palette. I have NI-DAQmx ADE support 16.0.1, NI-DAQ Device Driver 17.1.1 and NI-DAQmx MAX Configuration 17.1.1 installed.

Hi wbarrer,

I suspect that your issue stems from the fact that your version of LabVIEW isn't compatible with your version of DAQmx. My recommendation is to uninstall DAQmx 16/17 and install DAQmx 15.5.1 as this is the latest version of DAQmx that supports LabVIEW 2012 SP1.

You can read about the version compatibility and download DAQmx 15.5.1 at the following links:

As a side note, I recommend posting on the DAQ forums rather than the DAQExpress forums as you will have higher traffic and faster responses.
