Default location for saving task?

My file path for saving task got changed to the desktop, and now NI max, or labview can't find any new task that is created. I've tried searching to find where the default file path is, but I haven't had any luck. Reinstalling daqexpress kept the file path to the desktop as well. Hopefully someone is able to let me know the default file path. Thanks.

Do you know how the file path got changed? 

You could try using the Reset Configuration Data by selecting Tools » Reset Configuration Data, as described in this KB. Keep in mind that you might need to do a backup, you can export your NI-MAX data using this additional KB.
