I've been reading a lot about new languages going graphic and non-text-based. Most recently this. Software languages are finally following LabVIEW's lead into the 21st century. Say what you will about text-based programming but I've believed for a long time all of it is going the way of DOS and vanilla C.

I just received a Raspberry Pi B+ yesterday with Mathmateca and Wolfram Language included. The whole kit cost $60US. I'm happy today.
