Wikipedia needs a better LabVIEW code example

Just happened to see the Wikipedia article about LabVIEW and the example code on there.

 Not really the best example to showcase.  Violates many known good practices of LabVIEW programming.

Really not the best way to make you want to discover LabVIEW!

Well, it could be worse: with Dynamic Data and Express VIs only. 😄

It's not the best example of code but pehaps it's the best representative of typical LabVIEW code?

As a side note, who actually uses the Visible Items -> Terminals option for SubVIs?

We occasionally have to do a cyber security awareness course, so here's a good example of a text based language found in one of the course pictures. 😄

@Jacobson

Show Termials.  Who actually uses "show as icon?"   Showing the vi makes the inputs and outputs easier to distinguish AND looks so much more consistant with the Express VI motif.  BONUS all those connector pane terminal wiring rules can be ignored on your Vis since inputs and outputs are automatically shown left and right

<ducks>

Seriously though.  I only show terminals when I am FORCED to do so.  Like every time I use an ACBR;O

I just updated it. It's not perfect but it's honest work.

(Hopefully Wikipedia will keep the change)

That's a good representation of a LV program.
