Keynotes were awesome, though I wasn't in the mood for a political speech the last day.

I paid to bring my son to NIWEEK this year and I was VERY disappointed with the political speech on the last day. My company didn’t send me there to listen to political speeches and I didn’t pay my son’s way to hear a pro Obama speech. I saw a lot of people walking out during the speech. If I want to hear about politics I can turn on the radio. I have been attending NIWEEK since the first one and it has always been a time for all of us to forget politics and focus on new technologies. Usually the third day’s keynotes are really good. Presenting a political speech during an election season at a technical conference shows very poor judgment in my opinion.

Sounds like it was an NI-sanctioned Obama campaign speech.

Boy am I glad I chose to attend the Glenn Beck's Restoring Love event instead of niweek.
