Opening LV8.2

One of my dislikes about LV8.2 is that when I start it up, it creates a blank vi.  Then I have to close it and open the one that I want to work on.  Is there a way to set an option to open to the main menu rather than a blank vi?

I don't see this (it just goes right to the "Getting Started" window) - I think it's an options setting ...

... Yup - under "Environment", uncheck the "Skip Getting Started window on launch option".

Don't wory tbob, and ignore Joe's offenses, I celebrated my 25th birthday () 2 weeks ago and it took me 2 months and a 10 post thread here on the forum to see the tickbox for the "autowiring routine" - wich I can't bear.

We all spend hours in front of our monitor and we have "filter" all the informations, sometime important things get accidently filtered

I only crack on Tbob because we E-mail back and forth off the forums alot and I always give him a hard time because he is an LSU tigers football fan and I love the Tennessee Vols, it's a rivalry of football.

As for the signature it just came about. In the military I had a superior (well not really) officer that said when somebody did good that he wanted to grow up and be just like us. I just added to his saying.

Tito, if you are having trouble at 25, what are you going to do at 55???
