There is a bug in the Search and Replace String function in LV PDA. 

The bug is outlined in this thread.
The problem was originally posted by rberger, but NI was unable to reproduce it, and a workaround was found so it did not go much further.  I found another issue with it (months later) and we all got together and sorted it out.  There are some workarounds to be used until a fix is issued.  These are outlined in the thread. 

Issue is currently being investigated by NI R&D and hopefully there will be a  fix in the next version.
