LabTOONS, The secret life of LabVIEW objects!

Hi Christian,

I like your LabTOONs. I have two I like most the "Scary campfire stories." 5-26-2008 and the "pinch of LabVIEW trivia." 5-30-2008.
The link to Verzion Commercial is a little bit buggy.
Also as European from the description I can guess how the story goes in the advertisment so I can understand your LabTOON.

Yes, apparently it is corrupted, correct is: Verizon commercial

Sorry, I'll try to have the moderator correct it. Usually, I enter links manually in HTML mode. This time I used the link button. Apparently I did not follow correct procedure. 😞 It seems if you omit the "http" part, the forum software modifies the link and makes it relative to NI)

I actually recently became a Verizon customer and I was the first one in my area on FIOS. (I was able to sign up before they even started advertising, right after they finished wiring the neighborhood.)

Their FIOS commercial with Michael Bay is pretty good. Still, to improve the commercials for fiber optic to the home, Verizon could take some clues from a Hong Kong provider. See Video. 😄

Additional to GPS we need a route planner to find the shortest way from source to sink.

A quick trip down memory lane, all the way to LabVIEW 1.2 and the year 1998.

Of course the quote was from the movie "Back to the Future", which set at Unversal Studios burned down over the weekend in a big fire.

  • "Back to the Future" set: The town square, including the courthouse area and the clock tower that plays a central role in the film.

Altenbach:

Where did you get that Labview 1 block digram?  Black and white.  Wires break if you move an object.  Pretty ancient.

It's from the LabVIEW 1.2 manual of 1989, available online. Above the panel is a link to the PDF (huge file because it's all scanned in). 😄
