Indeed, launch time with 8.20 is alot better than 8.0.1, thanks to NI LV team for remembering my birthday

As I explain here I'm still not enjoying LV8.20... there certainly are some new cool features but some "things" were settable and no longer are, this is a real pain for those who've been developping for a couple of years !

Hi TiTou,
refering to your post I feel glad to help you. In the Options-Dialog in category "Block Diagram" you can uncheck "enable automatic wire routing" and the auto tool is switched off with category "environment" -> "Lock automatic tool selection". Then you can switch it off in the Tools-palette and LV keeps your desired setting after your next LV- start.
