Me reading this thread: "... ... ... ?"
The first page also made me strangely uncomfortable.

I'm not sure that uncomfortable at the first page would be considered strange for most people. I did have a weirdness about it.
Reviewing some of those posts, Daryl Hannah was only 22 when she made that movie, but is still attractive a few decades later. Looking at the Wikipedia Philip K. Dick got me interested in "The Man in the High Castle" and now, darn it, I am watching the eponymous series on Amazon Prime. Watched 4 episodes of Season 1 last night! Of course, since I am watching online, having opted not to get cable tv at my "during the week out of town" apartment, it will probably only be until the loss of "net neutrality" kicks in and streaming these shows becomes problematic.

There is no statue of limitation for typographical errors.

So your denial is limited to textual misconduct?
Speaking for myself "I will defer to my previous statement."
Now if you asked my wife,
she would smile and say "You know what they say about sailors.".

Extra Terrestrial? I know that a lot of "Foo Fighters" were reported in WW 2.

It's amazing what a squashed bug on the windshield can do to your imagination. 😄

Actually it really looks like a bug on the windshield! 😄

Unless they have some autopilot with perfect target tracking algorithms, the "bug" is clearly invariant in the frame of the cockpit and thus attached to the plane. 😄

But we should not rule out another possible explanation: that bug was an alien, and the impact with the jet fighter windshield just circumvented a close encounter of the third kind!
