Here is a thread for all those really great small VIs that just do cool things.
- Ok, I can't find it. I remember recently reading a post that was about 5 years old (possibly by muks) but I'm looking for the really cool VI that was posted as a tribute to Douglas Adams proving that 9 x ? = 42 (if you work in base 13). I'd love to see that again - especially with an explanation of how it was done!

Could be, It was in a different thread, so someone might have pinched it and reposted it, but it certainly is the VI. It works for me with or with highlight execution on, now how does it work Brain?

Arrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I genuinely thought you'd done something special to the function there. Turns out block diagram cleanup is a handy feature to have when the mouse is tricking you. ![]()
I seriously thought the base system of the calcluation had changed.
Naughty mouse, go back on your cage! You will have to try your evil plans again tomorrow. ![]()

At first I thought this was going to be another obfuscated code thread.

No tbob, I was hoping people would post cool and funky bits of code here that do fun things. Ratherlike the "Funny threads" thread, I thought this could be "cool code" or "funky code" or whatever term you want to use to describe code that does something abnormal but fun.

Careful- for demo purposes only! (the vi is er.....um.... unlimited reenterant and will eat you processor usage) but somewhat cool in that you have a movable coersion dot for any other use but this one.

How about code with unexpected results? Here's something I posted a while back but forgot where. Just drag it over and run it. For some reason, when this VI adds the two numbers together, it gives a bad result.
