how can we use nxtcam with mys?

I'm using nxtcamv4.

how can i conncected to myrio?

It seems like it is intended to be connected to an NXT or EV3 Lego Mindstorm controller. It does also mention you're able to connect it to a PC, but it requires a specific driver, which is likely not designed to be used on Linux RT. If the camera actually was compatible, you would need to install the NI-Vision driver on your myRIO and connect the camera over USB. However, I'm not confident that it actually is compatible, since I'm not able to find any information on whether you can actually use the nxtcamv4 with a myRIO.

 

The manual for the NXTcam says it "uses NXT compatible I2C protocol for communications". So if you could find a way to interface the camera with the I2C port on the myRIO, you may be able to interact with it, but we wouldn't be able to assist you with the implementation of that.

 

See forum post below for more info on installing the vision driver onto your myRIO. If you did this, you could try plugging in the camera to see if it worked, but I don't expect it will.
