Passing values between FPGA loops (5644R)

Does anybody know how the code for this example can be obtained?

The "Latest Version" link goes nowhere.

 

It might answer a question I have about the best way to pass values between FPGA loops.

Hello emonk,

 

Do you have the VI Package Manager (VIPM) – JKI currently installed? You can download it from:

http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/209002

 

Also check if you have the required version for this example (LabVIEW 2012). Regarding “Creating a Software Defined Radar System Using NI USRP and LabVIEW” this is a case study so the code is not necessarily available.

Thanks, Toto, the lack of the VIPM on this machine was indeed the issue.  And yes, it failed to open on LV 2014.  Oh, well.

 

I've been handed a list of VST projects to execute, most of them concern building tracking generators.  I haven't been issued an actual VST yet but I'm dissecting every scrap of example code I can get my hands on.  Looking at the streaming demo I see that I don't necessarily need separate loops for the transmit and receive sides after all.

 

But...I have a feeling I'll be pestering this board quite a bit when my hardware shows up. 

 

Vector modulation?   Fractional interpolation?  Basecard PLL status registers?   This may take awhile.
