When we create scripts in vision assistant we save it with "*.scr" extention. You have to open vision assistant everytime you want to open the script. I am suggesting double clicking the "*.scr" to open the script in vision assistant directly without the need for opening the software each time.If you open the file now you get an error message like this
If the extention is causing the problem or being the hurdle why not change it ?
The extension is the problem. Windows has reserved .scr for screen savers.
The proper fix isn't to open .scr files in vision assistant, but to come up with a new extension that isn't already claimed by another program for Vision Assistant. Perhaps longer than a 3 letter extension such as .VScr . It seems that LabVIEW is already using some "long" extenstions such as .lvproj and .alias.
