Do not hide cluster control label when re-order controls

Status: New

When right click on a cluster and selecting "Reorder controls in cluster..." the bloody control indexes hide the labels of the controls in the cluster, rendering it difficult to select which ones should be in which order.  How does the programmer distinguish between one or another control??!!!???

Hopefully the image below is worth 1000 words.  And yes, I did resize the cluster in the hope that the re-order index would go further to the right of the control, but it didn't.

This is something that needs to be fixed.  It should actually be considered a bug rather than a product enhancement.

When dealing with a small cluster, it might be okay... but when dealing with clusters having over 200 controls, setting the proper order in a royal pain!

Thank, you sir!  Someone else noticed this.  I just never got sufficiently peeved to post a suggestion!

Kudos... Though I am interested in why you would want a 200-element cluster- when things must get awful wire-y behind the scenes; it's hard to believe there isn't a better way...?!

I inherited the code... LOL!!   There isn't enough time to overhaul the entire solution...  well....  😉

I agree that is annoying, but you can select the labels of all the controls at the same time and move them which would make the labels visible.

It's not so easy to select them all when there are 3 screens worth of labels..  There are over 200 elements in the cluster.  I wish it wasn't the case, but that's what I have to deal with.

Wanted to suggest this.

Received the same project...  They are now at 300 items in the cluster.  Yikes!

I was hoping to see this feature implemented before having to deal with the project / cluster (again).

I guess it needs many more kudos!
