It would be usefull if we could have drag and drop events for files on any control.
This way simpler GUI can be build with a very nice user experience.

I like it when you can drop anywhere on the front panel/window. And have in the event structure one drop event handler/case, with a refnum to the control/panel/vi where something is droped on.

I second this request. I am developing a GUI where this feature would be a perfect solution.
