Has anyone received their gift from NI for being active in the forums?

I got mine today.  It is a spongy thing shaped like a star.  Maybe somebody can tell me what it is and if it has some special use.

I think it is a squishy hand exerciser for all those long hours stringing wires. Or a good stress reliever when the boss comes in and wants the project deadline moved up 3 weeks with 13 extra 'features' (you can throw it at him).

I also got a 'plaque' with my name, discussion forums handle and ratings/status.

Thanks for the recognition NI, and these forums are a nice feature for the new users and pros alike.

Got mine too.

I have to say I am a little disappointed, I was hoping for something a little bit more useful.

Still it will become an NI memorabilia 😛

For these who have not seen it, here it is.

Now we have stars "in hand". Wasn't CC or someone lamenting they couldn't reach out and grab a star in one of the star glutton threads a while back?

It is a great thing that we are recognized for what we have contributed.  I tend to throw things at my computer when I don't like my code... the squishy star will help the life expectancy of my monitor 🙂

Thanks NI!!!

OK, I can conlude that it's uses are only limited by our imagination.  I think my kids would like to use it as a bathtub toy.

Does it float???  That opens up a whole new world of science experiments.
