Hey! The Bars changed!

Apparently Laura has been busy!  Today many of the posters got an upgrade and I'm now an "Active Participant"

Congrats to all! 

What are the new Criteria?

Call me an incurable "fill-officer" but I like to know what it all means -42

I got a color in my third bar and I, too, am an "Active Participant"...although not quite as active as Jeff.    My bar colors aren't as dark, either, but then we all know that Jeff is cooler than I am. 

I would also be very curious as to what the new criteria is.  Is it a Big Secret, or can it be revealed?

As for me, I have a lot of handicaps to overcome...I'm only sort of old, I'm not a man...I'm not a "young, beautiful, sweet female physicist"...and I'm stupid, to boot!

Yikes!  I'm going to take my new "Active Participant" status and hang on for dear life!

(yes, I am now in the 200-2k post count range...that's quite a range!)

Diane, Intriguing post.

So you say you're not a "young, beautiful, sweet female physicist".  You admit you're "sort of old" so we can rule out the "young" part.  You also say you're not a man so I think we can accept the "female" part.

And despite what I might understand to be many opposing opinions, being stupid doesn't rule you out from being a physicist either.  Although my own experience tells me that people who cna identify themselves as being stupid are normally actually anything but.

Still leaves a lot of options.....   From these young has been eliminated, beautiful is irrelevant, sweet is in the running (and very much personal opinion either way), female seems to be set and physicist would never be given as an option by anyone other than a physicist.

Sweet physicist.  Brings to mind somebody who would work in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.....

I dont like it either. I went from being a Proven Active Veteran (respected by new comers) to nothing but an active participant. Talk about degrading.....
