The prep work for putting in the dam started by creatinga small temporary dam just below where the springs combine out of sand bags and using a section of pipe to divert the stream past the area I needed to clear out. Agood bit of the dirt on the banks of the stream bed were loaded into sand bags that were later used to create the wall of the dam.
