VXI-834x Dual Systems

I have the following situation:

There are two separate identical systems that have a VXI chassis in them.  They are setup the same.  The problem I am having is that when I restore the same image to both computer systems that are connected to the VXI chassis the VXI number is changed by the VXI driver.  Is there a way to make the VXI number stay the same?
