Failure Highlighting on Dev Environment

Hello,

Has anyone implemented failure highlighting using the VI analyzer API?

If I have missed please point me to the correct forum path otherwise please advise on a "workaround" to achieve that same result in a development environment.

What do you mean by failure highlighting?  That term has a few different meanings depending on the context...

Hello Warren,

I was thinking about the feature in VI analyzer where you  double-click a failure in the VI Analyzer Results Window to open the VI that failed the test and display the object that caused the failure.

In the VI analyzer API you can get the errors and display it in a multicolumn box. I can get a user event running such that whenever a user click on the error it will go to the specific VI and the specific cause of error.

Can this be implemented?

Hello to anyone who is reading this,

AE escalation to the NI R&D is a dead-end. I dont think this is a live toolkit in a since that NI doesn't have any plans of improving or making drastic changes on this. The error highlighting will remain part of the Analyzer UI and will not be exposed to be done programatically.
