I am trying to update the firmware of a 2953R Ni-USRP device, the update is done through PCIE, it is updated, it is ok. But when swithing to ethernet communication the device appear need to be updated. An d it is impossible to do update throught the utility through ethernet because it give an error.

please any suggestion?

PCIe will automatically update the latest firmware temporarily to make it all work.  Ethernet has to boot with the correct firmware. So ethernet should work if you flash it as recommended.

My problem was on the EEprom of the device, I resolved the problem.
