The Control or Indicator Symbol component switches image automatically when change ctrl to indicator.  Ideal for background image.

I do like system controls.  Here's a bunch that I'll be honest I'm not sure where they came from.  Mostly DAQmx, but also VISA, Time Stamps, and XNet.  I wouldn't mind making a systems controls package.

All your ctrls have the same problem: when switch to indicator, they do not change color.  That tells me none of these ctrls are true system control.  You can manually paint them to system color, then you lost auto color change feature.  Now you need two copy: one for ctrl, one for indicator.

When paint your VISA ctrl to silver color, it changes color correctly when change it to indicator. That means it's original from silver style.

What I show here is a trick to make a non-system ctrl act as if it's a system ctrl when change it to indicator.

This trick works for other style too.
