I guess I know where I stand at this time for my simple project which is turning out to be rather complicated. My first thought was to build a board with a PIC microcontroller and then send the data to my main computer but when I saw that NI had released the USB-6008 and I already had SE, I figured that would be the least expensive option in time and money.
If I had LabView I wouldn't be messing with SE and with the release of the new VI's I'd be set. "Honey, can I have some extra cash this month?". Nah, not a chance in he..................!
