SignalExpress Log Limit?

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to log a continuous capture of some acceleration data using SignalExpress, NI-9232, and cDAQ-9191 using a direct Ethernet connection to a laptop.

I am sampling from 3 channels at 10kHz, and the log seems to regularly stop after about 15 mins.  Is there a physical limit to the maximum log size that SignalExpress can support?

Hi!, by any chance are you exporting the log as you are capturing data?

If this is the case, they log might stop because you fill the limit of data that can be exported to an Excel file.

This ended up being user stupidity.  We had moved to a new PC, which had power saving settings that were kicking in after 15 mins.  We eliminated those and the problem disappeared.  Not an NI issue at all.
