Controling a menu by external signais

I need a big help. I instaled LabVIEW recently, and i need to get a external sign, and control a menu by this. At first, how i get this signal?

The menu works like this: there are some options, and the menu will pass by each option, and when a person do a certain moviment, this option will be selected. I need to see a standard in this moviment, and i don't know how to do this with labview. Any help is welcome.

Not sure why you posted to the signal generator board. You should have posted to the LabVIEW board as I don't see how anything here is related to NI Signal generators.

You can create a custom menu and there are examples that ship with LabVIEW that demonstrate how to use them. One such is called 'Menu Selection With Events'.

The rest of your post is confusing. You mention getting 'a external sign'. I assume you mean external signal. What type of signal and what type of hardware do you have for acquisition? You mention a person doing a movement. What do you mean - a menu selection? What is a standard movement?
