Hello.

We are developing a system which requires real-time high speed acquisition and data analysis. There are 4 PCI Express boards that simultaneously send ~5 MB of data to the PC at ~1-2 sec. interval. For each ~5MB a polynomial fit is performed and the result is saved.

Is it possible to develop the program using LabView?

We don't know yet. We would like to know if LabView is suitable for this kind of application.

That's definitely possible. Since your application involves with large data volume, I would recommend using the producer/consumer pattern. If you have LabVIEW installed on your machine, please use example finder to locate the shipping examples.Otherwise, you can download the 30-day trial version from here.

Per your reply, I am curious if you have already purchased the PCIe cards. If not, you have the option to use the NI-DAQmx simulated device. Otherwise please check PCI Express or contact NI Support.
