PollardVT was referring to the requirement that AI Sense must be connected to AI GND when using the SCC-68 with an Analog Input SCC module (see manual).

If this does not apply to your situation, it would probably be best to make a new post to the appropriate forum for your hardware (e.g. Signal Conditioning if the issue is specific to using SCC modules, or Multifunction DAQ if the problem is a general issue with using or connecting to an NI DAQ product).
