No data output NI 9870 (FPGA)

Hi everyone

I want to save serial data of NI 9870 by using FPGA mode.

I connected RS232 cable to port 1 and external power to NI 9870.

But it didn't read any data, there's no data coming in. I attached the program below and it is referred to the example code. 

What is wrong? help me!!

Hi  jw121,

Hope you are doing well.

As I understood the attached file is your FPGA code that reads the data from NI 9870.

I would suggest you at first initialize the Module, start it, and then start the acquisition,

 This is a small piece of code that I wrote for another purpose, but I think can be helpful.
