NI sbRIO-9651 Serial Write Error

I want to use an sbRIO-9651 to write messages via serial 232 port.

I tested the write function with a very simple vi. Please see the block diagram below:

I always get the error BFFF0015 which says timeout.

I tried both the original clip named kit2 provided by NI and my personal clip, in which I only enabled serial port2 and assigned the lines, input/output direction.

Same phenomenon, both timeout.

I am not sure which step I missed caused my problem.

Solved, need run any FPGA code, to connect the FPGA Chip and the Serial 2 port.
