Hello All,
Not sure if I am in the correct section, but here goes:
I am using a 3 wire RTD - 2 Red, 1 White. If I wire both red to RTD+ and white to RTD-, the reading shows -497 regardless of temperature. However, if I connect WHITE to RTD+, RED1 to RTD- and RED2 to COM, I am then able to read the correct temperature.
Now here is my question: Even though this wiring proves to work perfectly, it is counter-convention to use RED as COM/NEG and WHITE for POS, is there something wrong with what I am doing?
Thanks in advance!

It depends on the RTD used but I have had to use your setup before to get accurate measurements.
