I have Win7sp1 running on an NI PXIe-8821. When I ask the OS to shutdown, it takes several minutes. It shows the Shutdown screen for several minutes with the spinner. This appears to have started happening recently, within the past few months. I suspect an issue with the USB ports, but have not way of troubleshooting. When I plug a USB device into the connected hub, the OS does not react, e.g., I do not see the expected serial USB device appear in device manager, or plugging in a keyboard or mouse is not detected. Have changed hubs and have changed operating systems (to Win10). Any ideas of what I can look at or update or ?? would be helpful.
