Why not PCI

I am looking a few good reasons  why i should upgrade my PCI based tester to PXI based tester -

Some of the thoughts I have -

1. More variety of cards available in PXI section.

2. Higher speed.

thanks

More slots.  You can get an 18 slot PXI chassis.  Good luck finding a motherboard that can have that many PCI cards.

Shared triggering and clocks in the backplane is another one that I really like.

You can get 18slot PCI chassis which can work with a normal PC.

Huh, never looked for a PCI chassis before.  Interesting.  But if you are doing that, you might as well just go PXI.
