I have a PXI-1050 and cDAQ-9174.
The PXI has the following analogue input boards:
2 x SCXI-1102C
The cDAQ has the following analogue boards:
2 x NI-9105
My question is how to I sync the analogue inputs so I can have one task?
I want to sample a 1000 samples a second.
Thanks

Hi TimS,
The way to synchronise multiple chassis in this way is to export a trigger signal and timebase so that they synchronise up. The SCXI bus is connected to the PXI bus by a DAQ card integrated into the chassis so you should be able to route the trigger buses to that to synchronize timing, however to import or export a trigger for a PXI you will need a triggering card, there is a good article on multi chassis synchronization which is similar to what you are doing on our website:
http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/323403a.pdf
In terms of running them in a single DAQ task, I do not believe that is possible as you would have issues with the DAQmx driver running a single task on seperate hardware and routing signals.
