Hi,
I am a newbie so I am just asking.
So as I understand the multiplexer expands a PXI module, like say a 8 channel analog output module? So if the multiplexer had 128 output channels, the multiplexer along with the analog module would have 128 analog outputs?
Does this work for any type of module? Whether it be a counter, DAQ, etc...?
Thanks

Hi KSagarN,
Continuing with your hypothetical, an 8 channel analog output module in conjunction with a 128 output channel MUX would enable you to output 128 analog outputs, BUT only 8 at a time (eg you cannot output 128 signals at once). The channel spec of the module is the limiting factor. And yes, what I have explained above applies generally across module types.
