PXIe-8301 Controller thunderbolt issue - error code 31 PCI Express Upstream Switch Port

Hello guys,

I recently installed a PXI system but I get an error code 31 at PCI Express Upstream Switch Port. I tryied this solution but it didn't work https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000fz0JSAQ&l=en-GR

The LED link turns green when I connect the PXI controller with PC's thunderbolt PCI card, but NI Measurement & Automation Explorer doesn't show that something has connected to PC.

What am I suppose to do?

Photos.zip includes = device manager error window + all thunderbolt BIOS settings

My PC configuration:

Intel Core I7-10700K - CPU

Asus Prime H470-Plus - MOBO

Asus ThunderboltEX 3-TR - PCI CARD

NI Hardware:

NI PXIe-1071 - Chassis

PXIe-8301 - Controller

NI PXIe-6363 - DAQ

Thunderbolt 3 Type-C Cable - Passive

NI Software:

NI Measurement & Automation Explorer 20.5

NI PXI Platform Services 20.7

Ni-DAQmx 20.0

Hi, 

Are you sure that the powering steps are followed?

At first you need to power on the PXI then the PC. 

Also there might be a motherboard incompatibility, can you try to connect it with other PC?
