PCIe-8381 not booting Motherboards compatible(?)

My current motherboard is not compatible with MXI daisy chain architecture, that's why it is not booting up using the PCIe-8381. None of the manufacturers provide information about that spec (daisy chain on PCIe ports) which is a recommendation from NI, does anyone know a model or list with tested motherboards that can work along with the PCIe-8381 for a remote controller?

Generally, NI does not publish a list of such motherboards, same goes with Thunderbolt 3 based remote control support too.

A safer and more reliable option is to go with a PXI controller but that would be an expensive path too.

Hi Romell,

Have you tried the BIOS compatibility software (along with setting the DIP switch on the PCIe-8381)?

If you have a PC where the PXIe-8381 shows up you should try the latest firmware. It helps with compatibility in some systems.
