Internal Stack Error when running MAX Test Panel

This is my first NI project so bare with me. I'm running Win98 SE on an AMD Duron with 128meg. I installed a PCI 6711 AO device. Problem is I installed the card first, and then the drivers second. Guess I should read the directions first!

So I used the Test Panel in MAX to communicate with the device. When I started the test panel, windows just shut down. I removed the device from MAX, and rebooted. Windows found the new hardware, and installed the drivers.

Now when I run Test Panel, everything works. Only problem is when I do a cold boot of the pc, the test panel does not work again. I receive an "Internal Stack Overflow", "Change STACK in the config.sys". There is not a parameter in config.sys for STACK.
Strange thing is it only happens on a cold boot.

Any ideas would be great.

Here's what I would suggest trying. First goto Add/Remove Programs in Window's Control Panel, and Remove NI-DAQ. Then click on the Start button and goto Run. Type in regedit to open up Window's Registry. Follow this path down to the NI-DAQ folder.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> Software >> National Instruments >> NI-DAQ. Delete the NI-DAQ folder.

Then, take out your board, reinstall NI-DAQ.

If you do not currently have NI-DAQ 6.9.1, you can download it from our website under Downloads.

Let me know if this fixes the problem.
